As one would expect, this site focuses around the Yugioh trading card game, or as it's known in Universe, Duel Monsters. So, it makes sense to know how to play the game. The game itself can be quite complex. In order to prevent bloating out this post, the rules of the game can be found Here. Study them well, you're going to need it.
Now, the big question is going to be, how is one able to duel on this site? Well, unfortunately, proboards doesn't have a way to play the game on the site. Thankfully, there are plenty of browser based engines that can. And there's one in particular we're going to use.
Dueling Nexus.
In order to play, you will need to set up an account on the site. You'll only need one account, just simply make multiple decks for each character you have. From there, you can construct your decks (they must match the deck you have on site), and you can duel other players. In order to do so, simply set up a private duel, and send the url to your opponent.
When dueling, please keep track of your cards, and the moves you make during the duel. Google docs helps with this big time.
Now, you all might be asking, how do you do the duels on here? Well, first off, you must have done the duel in advance, so you know the moves, as well as who wins. Then, each player posts for each of their turns, going on until the duel's over.
NOTE: Now, we're aware that during your turn, your opponent can perform moves, such as activating trap cards, spell cards, monster effects, etc. During these incidences, the player who's turn it is can temporarily control the opponent's character to perform these moves. This is a lot of trust we're putting in you, so please be respectful to the character, and try to keep them in character.
And that's about it. Study the rules, build your deck, create your account, and go for it!
